My husband and I hired Jas b/c he was so passionate about what he did when we first spoke, looking at his previous work also helped cement that decision. He really got to know us and worked with us to come up with the photoshoot locations/themes. He captured our pre wedding shoot as well as our wedding week so perfectly and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Jas completely exceeded our expectations and we have recommended him to all of our family and friends. Can't wait for a couple family weddings that he will now be photographing. He is very versatile and every event had a different look or feel to the photos. For example our pre-wedding shoot was very candid and fun whereas our reception shoot was much more editorial and glam. He honestly preserved our memories so well and by the end of the week, he truly felt like family. Jas is so creative and has great ideas but he's also very collaborative, working with you to make your vision come true. Having Wedshades) capturing our wedding week was an exceptional experience. Their presence, professionalism, resourcefulness and artistic ability were such a positive addition to our wedding. As most couples know, finding a photo/film team for your wedding is not always an easy experience. But after speaking with them they were quick in having us trust their capabilities. We had liked the previous work that their team had accomplished before choosing them however, we also challenged them to step outside their comfort zone to match our vision more closely. And our expectations were exceeded! During shoots we were worried that we would look/feel awkward and it would show, however they instantly made us feel comfortable and directed us so that we would look our best.
Additionally, during the wedding week they were always respectful of everyone’s time and space. It never felt like they were in the way or that they were distracting from the events. They were able to flow seamlessly amongst everyone while still being able to capture everything and as a plus they gelled very well with our families. It was very much appreciated that even though they were quite accommodating, they have a strong confidence in their artistry that is well warranted. We enjoyed having them create and capture memories that will last us forever. Looking forward to seeing all the other couples that will have the pleasure of working with them!
